Changes have been made to a few texts. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 11 - A number of small corrections to language switching. Changes have been made to a few texts. Language switching changes the EasyView-Paint programming language, not the text of your project database. The menu item is self-explanatory. Language-dependent texts are stored in EasyViewPaint.mdb and can be modified. If there are errors or incorrect translations, please send changes to the following e-mail address: MANDLER Automatisierungstechnik 1863-684@onlinehome.de re: EasyView-Paint Please indicate your EasyView-Paint language and the mask, preferably with a screenshot of the changes or error. Thanks very much! Languages that are currently implemented: - German (Germany) - English (United Kingdom) - English (USA) - Swedish (Sweden) Changes in Version 1.1 Build 9 - EXE name changed in product name!!! The name of the EXE file has been changed from Spureditor.exe to EasyViewPaint.exe. If existing applications need to be updated, an old existing version should be uninstalled first, after which the update should be installed. For visualizations that refer to a non-modifiable filename, the EasyViewPaint.exe file can subsequently be renamed to Spureditor.exe. - Menu Settings -> Select OPC server or other OPC connection name A new text field, ‘Parameterized OPC Server:’ has been added. This field displays the OPC server that is entered in the project database. It can now be modified manually by entering the name of the server. All OPC servers that are installed on the PC are still displayed in the list field above, as they have always been. It is also possible either to select an installed OPC server (if it is marked blue) from the list field or to enter an OPC server that is not installed in the new text field – if the syntax is known. If a change is made to the OPC server, a warning message is now generated. Then the change can be confirmed or rejected. This offers protection against a user making an unwanted change to the OPC settings. There is a new ‘Cancel’ key to make it possible to exit the mask even if the parameterized OPC server of a project is not installed or is no longer installed on the EasyView-Paint PC, or to make it possible to exit the mask without changes to the OPC settings. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 8 Small insignificant optimizations. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 7 Menu Settings -> New Option There is a new option under the Settings menu item, ‘Preassign painting system, program type & program when starting EasyView-Paint’. This option causes EasyView-Paint to automatically preselect the first entry for the painting system, the program type and the program after the first entry is started. Load and save, upload to PLC If an error occurs in the PLC while loading or saving to the PLC, and if the error is not acknowledged before the next transfer, the PLC program will not perform any further transfers. EasyView-Paint will determine during the next transfer that an error is still present and will generate a message. Previously the error was acknowledged by EasyView-Paint and the transfer was aborted. EasyView-Paint acknowledges the error and now waits until the acknowledgement from the PLC is made by deleting the error bit or bits. Then the transfer is continued. If it is not possible to perform the transfer again, either a timeout occurs or the error is reported again. Menu ‘Settings’ -> ‘Use optimized writing to PLC’ Significant improvement in performance when uploading and saving to the PLC. The improvements become active when the menu item ‘Settings’ -> ‘Use optimized writing to PLC’ is activated. As a precondition, the PLC must always delete the transfer buffer. This is the case previously for all systems except for IVECO. In that case, this option must remain turned off. If the function can be retrofitted for IVECO, optimized writing will always be used in the future. If that happens, this option will be removed. EasyView-Paint automatically switches to Online during upload. After the upload, it switches back to its original state (Online or Offline). Changes in Version 1.1 Build 6 Print There is a new entry under the main menu of the editor, ‘Print’. A printer can be selected and the current track program can be printed from this menu item. In addition, one or more snapshots can be printed out under the menu item ‘Project’ -> ‘Display project snapshots’ with the editor. Button Upload -> PLC Now all the programs of one or more painting systems can be transferred to the PLC with this function. The OPC server and connection names change automatically if the appropriate parameter is set. One OPC connection should be parameterized for each system. Menu item Tools -> Submenu EasyView-Paint Minimize There is a new entry under the menu item ‘TOOLS’ to minimize the editor (taskbar). Minimizing is hidden under the Windows System menu as it has been in the past, to prevent easy and unintentional minimizing during visualization. Characteristic project data Superfluous blanks and new lines have been removed in individual fields to allow for better formatting when printing. Saving the Track Program A step comment is automatically generated while saving for the responses ‘End of program’ or ‘End of program with error’ if no comment is present. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 5 Show step comments for step If the mouse is in the header of the track grid (step numbers), the corresponding step comments are shown in the mouse tooltip text. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 4 Step comments for LOADING from PLC Step comments are only saved in the database and not in the PLC. When loading track programs from a PLC, the step comments loaded from the database were previously deleted by EasyView-Paint. If ONLINE data was saved, existing step comments were overwritten in the database with null strings, since EasyView-Paint always stores data in parallel in the PLC and database. Because of this, existing step comments were deleted in the database when they should not have been. Beginning with this version, EasyView-Paint does not delete any step comments from the PLC. The step comments that were present when loading from the database remain intact. Since a track program type must always be loaded first through the database, the step comments are current and match the online data. Project selection The path is now displayed for optimal readability in the header of the project selection after clicking in the directory selection window. This makes navigation easier with longer paths. Displaying Version History The version history (Readme.txt) is displayed in EasyView-Paint under the ‘?’ menu item. Changes in Version 1.1 Build 3 Bug fix – copy function Error eliminated from the copy function. This function was not executed under Build 2 with the right mouse button. New function Move Tracks Tracks can now be moved in the draft phase with EasyViewPaint. This feature should be used judiciously in a complete project, since it affects all programs of a given type. In addition, the PLC program must also be adjusted in some circumstances. *****
